These original half tone photographs were used in the makeing of Wallace Nutting's States Beautiful books. The back of the photographs are signed and titled in the Nutting Studio's trademark script style. Picture #1, 'Echo Lake' Berkshires is illustrated on page 83 of Nutting's 1923 book Massachusettes Beautiful. Picture #2, 'Under Croagpatrick' County Galway is illustrated on page 134 of Nutting's 1925 book, Ireland Beautiful. Picture #3, A Sheltered Bridge, is illustrated on page 67 of Ireland Beautiful.
