This photograph was made inside the Iron Works House, Saugus, Massachusetts circa 1915. Nutting illustrated this picture on page 549 of the 1915 Expansible Sales catalog with the title "Bird Talk" studio # 9359. In Old New England Pictures Book # 21 he illustrated it with the title "Songsters" studio # unknown.
A companion photograph illustrated on page 543 of the 1915 Expansible Sales catalog shows the bird cage suspended from the ceiling beam and the model standing, looking at the bird. This picture is titled "A Call To Liberty", Studio # 9358.
