This photograph was made inside the Hazen-Garrison House, Haverhill, MA. One of the five old
houses Wallace Nutting owned and furnished with antiques for his picture business.
This kitchen, without models is illustrated on pg 78 of Pathway
of the Puritans, a book Wallace Nutting's 'Old America Company' published
for the Massachusetts Bay Colony Tercentenary Commission in 1930.
Wallace Nutting made a very similar picture without the child in the scene titled, "Embroidering" studio # 9216.
