Florals are highly sought after by collectors. The most common style are signed directly on the picture and close-framed in a gold tone frame. Less common are florals that are mounted on a signed - and when size permits - titled mat.
It appears that in 1915 the studio number 9001 was assigned to "Wedding Invitations". Sometime around 1930 the studio number 9001 was re-assigned to "A Sheffield Basket". This is not so unusual. Several titles are listed with duplicate studio numbers.
You can access an index page showing some of the Floral Photographs illustrated in the Wallace Nutting Library.
