A seascape from the coast of Massachusetts. This photograph is illustrated on page 610 of Nutting's 1915 Expansible Ssles catalog and was offered for sale in every size the studio made.

Wallace Nutting also made a companion photograph titled "High Rollers" studio # 8604 that shows less wave and more of the rocks. Of this photograph Nutting wrote: "The picture above gives one the sense of being almost beneath the high rollers of the broad Atlantic as they leak in on the North Shore of Massachusetts. Seascapes are hard to find and attract the attention of collectors.
