"The Natural Bridge" is listed with studio numbers 6976, 6980 and 6982. This natural rock formation is in Rockbridge County, Virginia. Wallace Nutting illustrated this picture in his 1930 book, Virginia Beautiful on page 147 of the first edition and as the frontispiece in the 1935 second edition. There are three other photographs in this series. They are: "Natural Bridge" studio # 4914, "The Natural Bridge Hotel Roses" studio # 6978 and "The Natural Bridge, Down Stream" studio # 6979, which is a scene of the bridge showing more of the bridge.
