This is a photograph Wallace Nutting made from his garden at 'Nuttingholme' in Framingham, Massachusetts. Nutting composed it so that the garden steps elevate the viewers eye heavenward to the spire of the Plymouth Congregational Church in Framingham Center. (The Plymouth Congregational Church is the church the Nuttings attended and from which Wallace Nutting was laid to rest in 1941.)
