This photograph is one of several Wallace Nutting made in this Quincy, Massachusetts homestead circa 1915. It is illustrated on page 115 of Nutting's 1923 book, 'Massachusetts Beautiful' with the title "A Last Look".Wallace Nutting often changed the title of photographs he illustrated in his books.

A companion photograph "The New Cape Bonnet" studio # 2361, shows the same layout as "A Fine Effect" above except that the model is standing with her back to the wall mirror and viewing her bonnet with a hand held mirror.

A third photograph in this series, "The Last Word In Bonnets" studio # 2363, does not appear in any of the Nutting Studio list of titles I have and is not illustrated in any of Nutting's sales catalogs or books.
