This picture was made in Cheshire, Connecticut. Wallace Nutting illustrated this picture on page 808 of his 1915 Expansible catalog. He also illustrated it on page 24 of his book, 'Connecticut Beautiful'. The Nutting studio also made and sold a companion picture with the title, "In Tender Leaf" studio # 667, which shows a wider view of the inlet made at a slightly different angle.
