This is one of those confusing titles that Wallace Nutting sold. This is a picture of the Pomperaug River in Connecticut. The Nutting Studio listed this title twice in their 1915 Expansible Picture Catalog and although they have the same title both photos are seperate and distinct but very similar images of the same location. Studio # 481 can be found on page 811 of the 1915 Expansible Picture catalog and is a close up view of the rock mound as a focal point. Studio # 167 appears on page 813 of the 1915 catalog. It is a fuller view of the same area and it appears that Nutting stepped slightly to the left. Wallace Nutting also illustrated this picture, (studio # 481), with a slightly modified title, "Waters Meet" in his book, 'Connecticut Beautiful' on 99 of the first edition and on page 91 of the second edition.
