This picture is a scene of Webster Pond, the lake with the long name, in Webster, Massachusetts. Nutting illustrated this picture on page 60 of his 1912 Picture Sales catalog and on pg 818 of his 1915 Expansible catalog.
Wallace Nutting also illustrated this photograph on pg 251 of his 1923 book, "Massachusetts Beautiful", first edition, with the title, "Lake Chauggoggagogmanchauggagogchabunagungamaug".
According to Wallace Nutting the translation of this name is said to be "A Thousand Bays", but he does not "guarantee the correctness of the etymology".
Nutting made a companion photograph, taken at just a slightly different angle titled, Pine Cove.
