This school house was on Sandwich Drive, west of Manchester in Vermont. Wallace Nutting illustrated this picture on page 51 of his 1912 Picture Sales catalog and on page 654 of his 1915 Expansible catalog.

It is difficult to see from this photograph but two children are sitting on the front steps of the school house. Wallace Nutting also illustrated this picture in his 1922 book, Vermont Beautiful on page 139 of the first edition and on page 125 of the second edition.
