This picture was made in Simsbury, Connecticut, circa 1910. The Nutting Studio illustrated this picture on page 15 of the 1912 Picture Sales catalog and on page 115 of the 1915 Expansible Sales catalog. Wallace Nutting also illustrated this picture in his book, 'Connecticut Beautiful' on page 83 of the first edition and on page 77 of the second edition.
