This picture was taken in Wallace Nutting's Southbury,
CT home he called "Nuttinghame". It is illustrated in his 1912 picture
catalog on pg 27 and in his 1915 Expansible catalog on pg 479.
When he sold this house in 1912, the retired banker who had already
made a deposit and was assured that he "owned" the house said, "I
don't mind telling you that wild horses could not have pulled me out of
this room."
