Mahogany Three Part Dining Table - # 681B

Dimensions: 46 1/2" W - 122 1/2" L - 29 1/2" H
End Sections = 29 1/2" each   Center Section = 31 1/2"   Leaves (2) = 16" each

This magnificent Empire Style Dining Table, in excellent condition, was sold at auction in February, 2001, by Clearing House Auction Galleries, Inc., Wethersfield, CT, for a record setting price of $8030. It is complete with two 16" leaves and all the brass "U" clips to secure the leaves in place.

Wallace Nutting advertised this table in the Nutting Furniture Company Catalog as being available in a Two-Part (# 681C). I have seen a Four-Part (# 681) in less than desirable condition.

The original that inspired this reproduction was made circa 1800/20 and can be found in Wallace Nutting's 'Furniture Treasury' volume One, plate 994.
