You might expect more but there is only six illustrations in Wallace Nutting's three-hundred page biography. One, titled Paridise Portal is an entry into his garden. A portrait of himself and his wife Mariet Griswold Nutting are two others. Although he only devotes eight pages of text to his wife he makes quite clear how important Mrs. Nutting was in his life.
