1915 Expansible Picture Catalog

Because Wallace Nutting was constantly making new pictures and frequently adding titles to his inventory, his picture catalogs were obsolete almost as soon as they were printed. In 1915 he published this 'expansible' catalog. It opened at the spine so that retailers could add new pages illustrating new photographs.

The most complete 1915 Expansible Catalog will have 264 original and supplemental pages illustrating Wallace Nutting's photographs, calendars with a photograph and sentiment, examples of frames available and historical statements.

In addition to the above 264 pages Wallace Nutting issued a four page history about each of the five Colonial Houses he used in his photograph business. This was to promote colonial photograph sales and what some called his museum homes. These pamphlets are as follows:
