Helen (Goss) Stackhouse

Helen (Goss) Stackhouse started work for Wallace Nutting part time while still in high school. At first as a colorist and later, as a model. Ms. (Goss) Stackhouse lived a short distance from Nutting's Framingham, Massachusetts home and appears in some of the more unusual photographs made at "Nuttingholm". According to her daughter, Julie Chapman, Ms. (Goss) Stackhouse wore her grandmothers brown taffeta wedding gown, always posed alone and always indoors. This, Ms Chapman says is how she is able to identify some of the pictures her mother appears in.
